Support for the supportive

Please take this brief survey about email newsletters from Laura's blog.

Today it's my time to pray specifically for the support workers down South.

I'm reading that with no effective communication, no supplies, no rest, no food, the police are increasingly helpless in the face of looting—their priority no longer concerns property but is all about saving lives. And they're risking their own lives to do it. Other rescue operators face similar hurdles. Communication remains a huge concern.

So I'm focusing thought on this equation, if you will, by Mary Baker Eddy:

"The human capacities are enlarged and perfected in proportion as humanity gains the true conception of man and God." Science and Health

I can do my part by increasing that proportion in my own thought. It's my assignment today to stay aligned with all that I understand about "the true conception of man and God."

Here are some thoughts I wrote down the other day:

All that exists is incorporeal Life. Life with no material limitations. Free, not trapped or vulnerable. Infused with the atmosphere of Spirit. Inextinguishable. Filling all space. Love only. Life, Spirit, fills all space, there's nowhere those people can go and not experience Life. Life continues because it is spiritual, not bounded by matter, either the body or things. Life is wisdom, it self-preserves, cares for its creation, mandates its reflection. No pause, no gap, constant.

That person, right there, in the dark or on camera, that person has all the might and riches of Spirit because they reflect Life. There they stand, as complete and cared for as the moment of creation. You stand, my friend, as an emanation of Love, Truth, Mind. You are animated by Life. You are governed by Principle. Soul has your treasure, Spirit your being. Evil may swirl around you but it cannot touch you. Peace, stillness and radiant light are yours. And all that you ever need comes to you from the Holy Father-Mother, caring for you and establishing you.

The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

--Psalms 93:4

Thank you Laura, for your wonderful prayerful insights!
How important it is not to buy into the material dream in order to be truly helpful! Disasters seem to scream that God is absent. We can indeed help by aligning our thoughts with the Truth of being.
Love and peace, Veronika
